>>15648516Read the manga, it avoids a lot of the pitfalls of the anime. I'll be the first to admit that Trigun isn't admittedly that good in retrospect but its acclaim was just a byproduct of when it aired in North America. I still can't bring myself to dislike the anime though, Vash is one of my favourite character designs even though he's not as cool as I used to think he was.
