Okay family let's have a real sitdown talk about Trump and the state of the world. I really wanna know what you guys think about the guy, and the global impact he's gonna have. I did a little writeup of my thoughts like the dedicated OP i am, definitely tell me what you think, and then we'll hear from you. Level-headed conjecture:
Trump has a very directional manner of thinking which he learned from the people around him. It's simple, it works, and his confidence sells awe, so it's charismatic. He's a salesman, and in his opinion it does very well for him. Business transactions and human beings are so intrinsically related in his understanding of the world, that any consequences in the pursuit of "the deal" are just necessary costs. I believe this is the world he has always lived in. The presidency couldn't change that. Someone tells him that they want something, Trump presumably thinks he has something to gain from this person, so he tweets about it. Or hire them to his cabinet, or even engage in policymaking themselves. Think about it, the elected republican leaders consistently have very little knowledge about their own bills and policy when asked, most of it sounds like panicked hearsay from the white house, and they're caught completely unaware by constituents addressing the real-world consequences. This is public relations. Our elected officials are getting paid to not know anything, so they can't answer our questions.
