>What is it about Christianity that appeals to you so much over every other religion or spiritual practice? To me the most appealing thing about Christianity is how substantial it is, both in terms of Scripture and prophecy and traditions. It has good historical and archaeological evidence supporting it and it is morally superior to most if not all religions.
>Is there more proof it's the one true religion? That Jesus actually existed? Or do you accept it is largely because of your geography, place in time and your parents influence? I don't believe that my upbringing brought me to Christ.
As for historicity, even secular academics don't dispute the fact that Christ existed. And it's a perfectly logical proposition once you understand how the New and Old Testaments relate to one another. Other than that, you have plenty of miraculous signs pointing to the legitimacy of the Christian faith.
>What have you actually gotten out of this belief?Reassurance that good and evil are both objective things that cannot be corruptible by the utility or caprice of human law, that the universe is orderly and not chaotic and that justice exists.
