You must be a permanent resident to enlist. And you must be a citizen to get commission. USMC and US Army have a lot of MOS (job roles) that require language interpreter, especially the ones that speak sand. If you can get residency, you'd be able to get citizenship through military service. It is also important to note that if you want to become a commissioned man (officer), you will require a college degree too.
