This is somewhat /X/ tier but I will give you niggers my theory on Q and it revolves around the concept of like attracts like, law of attraction theory. If you have trouble with metaphysics this explanation will escape you.
You have heard about collective prayer and meditation effecting change in the world. Now you may scoff at it, and sometimes I do, but I do believe in the law of attraction, that like attracts like, that when energy it put out, all cooperative components seek to assist. If you dont understand the concept you can look up "Law of One" or the Book of Ra, or some of the newer stuff from the channeler "Abraham." One thing that is consistent amongst the metaphysical religions and beliefs is that energy put forth is returned, collective thought forms have power and gain power through belief. Rituals like the eucharist, the ceremonial garb of the church, etc. All of this is to manifest and collect human emotional energy and channel that power toward some end.
