>>13902222quads! This is your lucky thread.
>>13889412I'm glad to hear things got better for you. If you don't mind me asking, what makes you passionate about the sciences? It's not that I dislike them, I always liked biology for example, but stuff like maths and programming I find a bit empty.
>i think that's only an issue if you're the kind of person to actively look for things to do.Oh no, I meant that it's hard to find work in a village so you'll need to commute, which can take up a good chunk of your time. Other than that I see no downsides to living in a village, not even the scarcity of food since you can just get it delivered to your home nowadays.
>eventually it'll come up again, and i'm not sure if i'll have a meaningful answer. What constitutes as meaningful in the first place? I suppose not giving template answers but you haven't been doing that so far.
>having that kind of mental and emotional backdoor open at all times makes me feel uneasy, so i avoid it.I see what you mean. But can't that happen to anyone? There are risks involved no matter what you believe in.
I think family is very important to someone's mental well-being. The world at large takes care of your physical needs while family of your emotional ones, if it's a functional one.
>i really like Tolkien's prose and writing style, it can make things seem either grandiose or abysmal.I believe he was a linguist, which shows. He also managed to invent a language.
As for ASoIaF, I read the first two books but found it a bit hard to continue. Not that I disliked them, it's just that I thought it was a huge commitment to make and I was better off reading other books written in other styles.
>at least, i think that's KaedeIt is. This artist has drawn some fan books it seems. I wonder if they're official as I think you have to get a licence for them. But then some of the pictures are quite erotic so I don't know...
>>13902223I'll have to find one that's sfw enough first. The mods are watching.
