The idea that the internet is its own sequestered little place separate from reality is hopelessly archaic. Not having social media confuses the hell out of most women, who have no idea how to judge you without some form of social proof or way to gauge your social acceptance in society. Telling a woman I don't have Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, whatever, is an instant deal braker.
