Chink who raped white girl, 17 who died before going back to job at takeaway 'falls 40ft in prison'
A rapist is in "a really bad way" after plunging 40ft from a prison balcony.
Chinese restaurant worker Ji Ren Lin, raped a 17-year-old girl when she was intoxicated in a city centre in what a judge described as "an appalling crime."
The teenager went on to take her own life.
Now 32, Lin has suffered severe injuries in an incident which has left staff at HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow "quite shaken up".
Vile Lin is said to have fallen three floors at the prison in Scotland and is now fighting for his life.
He suffered head, neck and leg injuries, and was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary, The Scottish Sun reports.
His sickening crime took place on November 21, 2018, when he carried his victim into a lane in Glasgow city centre and raped her.
He afterwards went back to work at a Chinese restaurant.
Passers-by found the girl "stumbling, distressed and crying" and they were worried "someone would take advantage of her in that state" - unaware someone already had.
The teenager died in March 2019 after taking her own life.
Hong Kong-born Lin denied the charge and claimed the girl agreed to have sex with him.
However, he was convicted of rape after a three-day trial on October 16 this year.
Lin is now said to be in "a really bad way" after hitting the concrete floor.
A source told The Scottish Sun: "He must have fallen from about 40ft. Staff had to work on him to keep him alive until paramedics turned up and took over.
"He is in a protective hall where all the sex cases go in the jail.
"All the staff who dealt with it are quite shaken up. It was quite horrific."
