It’s a mess and an internet folk mythology but for the topic at hand, it feels like a crowdsourced response to said “insider anons” channeled through a singular archetype that is kind of the spirit of anonymous (but not necessarily the gay fawkes stuff). In other words, it demonstrates a return volley to these mil-int ops which validates a level of distributed intelligence that can be taken into account for follow on actions.
