>>10727691>have you noticed a couple of threads about livestreams of suicide recently?Yeah, it's just some server advertizing. I checked it out and there was no stream. It's a weird ploy, though. Wouldn't they only be deleted sooner than if it was just an ordinary ad?
>Discussion boards start off well, but sooner or later they get infected by /pol/ and /r9k/But if they were to be allowed on /jp/, I doubt this would be a problem, given its relatively strict moderation. However, this all rests on their continued popularity. If they continue to grow in popularity, as they're expected to, opening things up should only be expected; if not, though this's doubtful, then keeping them in their threads should be fine.
>Hiro has no intentions of doing anything and the mods who are active are only doing damage control at this point. And we can also assuume that, with the coming election, the number of users will only increase. Besides adding more staff, I don't see how they expect to moderate simply thru deletions and bans. It at least works for now, but for how long? There has to be a change at some point.
>Look at kiwifarms, for example. Or look at how well documented Chris-chan's life is. Oh, right. Lolcows and all that. I get that about as much as I get the serial killer thing. They can be funny, but not when you start to think this's someone's life you're laughing at.
