>>17906858>(...) free will IS a technical illusion.>It requires us to be time bounded computational mortal entities.I had thought about this before and was wondering if "free will" is even a thing if everything is a consequence of our own actions and we seem unable to overpower these mental chains that we're consistently constrained with.
In the sense of this world being an simulation / emulation of chaos, "free will" does not exist, because we're all just a select dot on the grand spectrum of human possibilities, existing in this specific period of time for whatever reason is out there.
Meaning, whatever choices I might feel like I make here "consciously" are in fact things that could have been predicted if one had known what reality would be like, and if one knew which one of the possibilities I am.
This goes beyond acts and into intent, into cognitive states. If one learns to recognize what state everyone else is in, everything becomes fake, constrained only by time and the eventual inevitability of things that are bound to happen.
Maybe this is what was referred to as the "Despair Code" on some of the icebergs, because it is the state I am stuck in currently.
I know the intent of people posting here, I know what they are, spiritually. I engage with you because I know your intent is good and I'm going to ignore the other poster because he shares the exact same qualities as every other idiot I've encountered in the past.
I will also rebuke this poster
>>17906860 for casting pearls before swine, but will they listen? Probably not, but can I tell? Not this time.
>>17906861Here you have an entity unable to understand what "free will" actually entails - but wait, I just said it's an illusion, proven both by your post and mine. That they're just another role, playing itself out in this reality, before we get sorted out and perhaps experience true free will, outside of the boundaries of this necessary space.
