You don’t have an appreciation for the morals and ways of thinking and values that religion instills.
And from a physical view, every single last thing you fear in this world is invisible. Fear is correlated to anger in anger is the perceived destruction of something cherished. You fear the invisible wills of man, 1000 miles away, Without concepts and desires, Literally nothing exists. Concepts and even by definition form can only exist in a sentient mind. Consciousness doesn’t make sense to most peoples thoughts because they can’t explain how implicit thoughts are all that give definition to the corporeal. Much of what we know is due to painstaking introspection That was built upon the basis of peoples knowledge thousands of years ago.
In that aspect thought is real, and therefore can things that exist in thought, but not Always in front of us be real?
Is love real? Or is filial piety a more apt description? When we phrase things with love does phrasing alter the way we think and how those bonds ascribed to love, alter the interpretation of others to what you said, towards family and friends - than say obligation, fealty, and loyalty? Does the word “love” make you want to try your best for them?
