>>20406608I've been thinking for a while about a cleaning company of this kind, sadly with my back i'd be forced to leave all the fun to my employees (as if i could afford any to begin with kek).
>>20406614All very good points scrapbro! Delving into old tech seems promising especially. Relatives prolly know stuff like music instruments, old vinyls, etc.. might have value, but old electronics... they will assume it's outdated crap and ditch it without a second thought.
At some point i was thinking about vases too, but after digging a bit the question i estimated they were too many repros of literally everything in the wild, plus it's a pain to ship/insure.
Exception being uranium glass, who always treated me well in term of gains and is easy to identify.
What about mural clocks like kookoos and richly ornamented Napoleon III's clocks? It's a bit kitsch, but i could see it make a hipster comeback one day kek.
Others boomer avenues i can think of :
>ivory>perfume bottles>broad beans>old kitchen ustensils (coffee grinder, shakers,..)>fossils (now that's cool stuff)>maritime navigation items (compass, field-glass, models, even items who come from well known boats maybe?)>pocket knives
