>>16316052>why would they wanna bother anywaythat's a good question, i've heard a lot of random things about this and the most compelling or at least intriguing answer i heard was that basically they need to
yknow how we need water to live? them absorbing our energy or whatever is supposedly the same thing, so they need to get us to feel negative emotions like fear and anger and hatred and all that stuff because it powers them. not too different than monsters inc now that i think about it except it's more fundamental to them than just powering their city. i'm not an expert on it but that's the general idea.
it's pretty interesting because in a way even though they're "powerful" in the sense that they can influence people or possess some or whatever they're still dependent on us. going back to the water comparison imagine if our oceans and rivers and precipitation and everything was sick of powering our dams and being bottled by us and tried to fight back. it's a weird analogy but maybe you kinda get the picture. even though we're more "advanced" creatures than water we well actually it's a retarded comparison because we don't really "torture" water but i guess maybe you could say that by treating it to make it potable but i'm getting offtopic.
my point was i heard that they can't force us to do anything, we choose, so even though a lot of people end up making a lot of "bad" choices the fact is we still have the power to make good choices and eventually can starve them out, imagine if there was no water on earth, humans would be dead, so a similar thing could happen to the demons or whatever they are
