>>9204684>If you did have that ability then Jesus died on the cross for nothing.mate did Jesus suffer forever for your sins?
Is eternal torment the penalty for sins?
If it is Jesus did not pay it
Jesus did not suffer forever for your sins
Jesus eventually died on that cross
it finished
it ended
if one sin = eternity, Not even Jesus can pay that
" If it's temporary then why should you care if everyone ends up in Heaven anyway?"
its hot, hell is really hot, it sucks
most Christians are going there anyway, most Christians dont know the Jesus of the bible, they know the Jesus of their Church. You dont know the real Jesus either. Jesus died on a cross to save you from death. The wages of sin is death. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. Jesus defeated the grave at the cross not hell.
mate lets go back to Jesus, lets go back to his words
6 hours on a chross does not = forever and ever
and keep in mind that is 6hours for everyone who ever lived
Mark 9:47-50
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
Now let us look at the verse Jesus is quoting here
Isaiah 66:22-24
>22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.2>3 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
>24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Now what did the fires of hell do according to Isaiah?
