Also yes, gender affirmation surgeries aren't perfect but that just means we need to fund the research into how to make them better, unfortunately there are people who want to hinder the scientific progress. There are dangers associated with gender reaffirmation procedures but that only means we should be more empathic with these individuals, not less. Keep in mind though most of the transphobic posts on 4chan are from eggs who are struggling with internalized hatred. I always try to be empathic with them
