The UK is the home of some of the greatest architecture in the world, but of course we have some shite as well.
Dwelling on the bad - as opposed to striving for the good - is a base and Godless mindset adopted by the weak willed, usually demoralised beta males, to cope with the feeling of wretchedness that comes from their lack of belief that they will one day make something of themselves.
Unfortunately, this is how the media they consume teaches kids to think. Some grow out of it but unfortunately, many do not.
