Their alliances are weak, their military is weak, right now. They weren't always weak but they are today. You have NO CHOICE except to attack.
If later you become weak and they become strong your nation might burn. It might be looted. It might be subjected. Instead you do it to them, WHILE YOU CAN.
In 50 years an enemy king might die, a son might come to the throne and marry off his daughters forming some of the strongest alliances ever seen. But not today.
Today you invade them or you lose your chance for perhaps 200 years or more.
YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. It must be done.
This happened all over Europe.
Weakness invites invasion.
