Silly me, I thought the Roman Empire was destroyed by the migrant crisis of barbarians caused by Genghis Khan’s army. And because Rome was so busy kicking ass elsewhere (aka moving up) they couldn’t remobilize their militia to their own country in time. This was made worse by the fact that the senate was more politically devised than ever and couldn’t agree on anything.
Can’t help but notice parallels to how Rome fell and current world events/politics
