My advice would be to sign up with a driver agency and try many different types of trucking jobs so you know what you like and what you do not. Also, while on an agency, a lot of companies will offer you to go full-time.
I'm on an agency full time because it gives you a lot of freedom to come and go as you please, and having a boss is peak faggotry.
One of my regular jobs, which I've been going to for about 7 years, only requires you to work 6 hours a day, but the agency pays a minimum of 8 hours. I'm usually home by 1 o'clock in the afternoon each day. There are many other comfy jobs like it too. Small, family-owned businesses are pretty much unanimously better to work for than the larger ones, which just treat you like a number.
