I've never touch /b/ since 2009, but I can confirm that after some raid event that made Moot put the captcha, the board never recovered and OC as a thing disappeared.
Unironically /bant/, /s4s/, /sp/, /fit/, /tv/ and /v/ are the main core of OC nowadays.
Also banning shitposters from /jp/ was a bad idea.
