we'll see what happens. raises are purely numbers based, so them liking me so much doesn't actually matter on that front, though presumably getting so much work early on will help me reach those numbers earlier. also i'm sure that i'll eventually want to get promoted and the whole situation bodes well for that
there is the unfortunate side effect that my supervisor doesn't like me since he only really sees output/QA numbers at the moment, but he basically hates everyone anyway so it's not a big deal
