>>21012025I was surprised to see how many gay people were in Budapest. It was a very nice city otherwise. The people were very friendly to me as an American, which was surprising. The women were also friendly. The service in restaurants was not bad considering it was Europe. People are very quiet in general. Piss low prices for everything. I have it down as a good place to consider retiring. I could probably buy a nice building on Andrássy and live pretty happily. I enjoyed the Opera and symphony that seems to hold functions fairly regularly and for peanuts. The Iron Clap came as a surprise haha! 9/10 destination.
