>>20411724True, and it could be anything. Our civilization is extremely delicate right now. It could be any of the dozen potential wars with a dozen potential adversaries. It could be hyperinflation and runaway inflation. It could be rising disatisfaction with leadership. It could be immigration of xenos into our lands and internal strife. It could be disease and plague, or famine (even in America, yes) or some dark horse event.
You just need a tremor or series of tremors large enough to induce destabilization. Already we've reached the limitations of what the 19th century industrial/liberal world outlook could provide. We had multiple answers to it in the 20th century, but the old order delayed its coming. Now, we won't have Hitler to save us and preserve all of our old monuments and peoples without harming them too much. If Hitler won, he could have peacefully transitioned our civilization to an awakened state. The Allies gave us sleeping pills as they ravaged us. Now, there will be blood and lots of it. That was not guaranteed if Hitler had won the war. It could have been peaceful then.
Now, it will be so violent that it will put the great wars to shame and shatter entire metaphysical outlooks. Entire religions will die and be created out of the steaming mountains of corpses and blood that will be generated.
And I think even normies are coming to a realization that politics are about to get real primal again.
After that, golden age. For a time.
