/bant/ was visited by all of /qa/ and not just those that posted Cirno including GR15 and the poster that would later be noted to be of the Isle of Mann. In fact, for the first few months of /bant/'s existence it served as a place to redirect refugees from /a/ due to this association with anime/random, which is why it contains /a/ threads like desu and SakuraFish.
I browse both boards and see the attempted rivalry between them non-constructive and pointless.
