good news is they were very lenient with their skip options. there's this system where you explore people's memories to unlock sets of new skills and whatnot and doing so is basically a glorified cutscene where you're forced to walk at a slow pace and listen to some dialog but even those can be skipped
i watched a lot of the establishing stuff but after an hour or two is tarted skipping everything i can
