It must be said, however, that Koreans are the most soulless of the East Asians. So it's not surprise that KPOP seems to have made inroads into pop music more than the other East Asian countries.
I was about to say that South Korea has infiltrated the West (or has the West infiltrated South Korea?) more than an other East Asian nation. But then I think of Pokémon. Has KPOP outdone Pokémon in cultural effect? I think not.
