>someone who's good at a lot of things will rarely excel in any.yeah, i agree with you there, issue is my ability and attention span don't work well together. i've struggled with sticking to things my entire life. dropped out of a lot of different groups and programs, and even recently switched degrees. i remember the last place i dropped from telling me that this is a very bad habit to form so early on.
i still couldn't tell you if i took that advice to heart or not.
>I love these picturesi could tell! you really do like posting them, although that isn't an issue for me in the slightest.
>>13915038>How does it usually come up if they're mostly left leaning?my immediate family is left learning, everyone else lives downstate and is fairly conservative. i remember my Grandpa asking my stepdad if they were teaching my sisters that being white is bad up North.
my stepdad promptly told him they're learning basic addition and spelling. he was not happy after that.
>I guess some people just want something to argue about.it really does seem that way sometimes. i guess when you have absolutely nothing better to do, you might as well seek out some form of discussion. people don't exactly like being brought out of their comfort zone though, so they either stick to the same groups or screech at the other one.
>It even came close to a fist fight onced'oh my goodness, that's far from ideal! i think at that point both sides need to take a step back and realize what the hell they're getting so mad at each other for: opinions.
>Is it as bad as everyone says?it definitely can be. i remember going on my very first flight about 3 years ago, i had my hair trimmed a few inches the day before, the asshole TSA agent said that wasn't me on my ID because of it. took awhile, but eventually he relented and let me through. that's the only egregious example i have, most of the time its super uneventful, it just takes awhile.
