I really do think there were psyops going on in this site and really anywhere that perpetuated conspiracy theories. /pol/ was ripe for it and started manufacturing their own propaganda and conspiracies and memes. Now that the dust is settled and the psyops has died down (besides the occasional well timed conspiracy theory like Seth Rich) /pol/ is realizing that Trump and the 'alt-right' had not much to do with their image. It was all manufactured and non-organic.
I honestly think the only reason they didnt figure it out sooner was because the influx of le_donald keeping the ball moving for a while.
