>>15912974I don't know the US system but the compromise between a standardised test grade and then a subject/content based GPA seems like an okay compromise? In Aus until like 5 years ago if you were smart enough to commence an MD you could do it out of high school but it changed to post grad because more years = more money for unis. And that credential creep can literally ruin women's lives. By the time women make Fellow in a medical college they're normally like 35 and single and our medical care isn't any better for it.
Think I just realized my issue is actually with the "education" part and not the "women" part, men can just handle having their life fucked around for ten years because biology.
