I thought it was a meme at first that people "grow out of metal" but I can't listen to metal anymore without rolling my eyes anymore.
There's only a tiny handful of metal bands I can still stomach, like Voivod and Dan Swano but it really is a juvenile genre for teenagers and developmentally stunted manchildren who refuse to grow up.
