i was worried about the cheese burning before the hotdogs, but it looks like the opposite issue was more of a concern. i'm not sure i had ever even heard the term broil until today, but having the heat coming from the top did wonders for melting the cheese. i'll probably make it again with some sort of shredded cheese mix sort of meme

i did get a lot of hotdogs though. the only way i could get hotdogs that were big enough to fit cheese in them was to get like a 28 pack. i even bought some sausage too just in case
