I belive you came across our true ancestors ruins. They were murdered by their creations the reptiles. Some escaped to Earth. Adam and Eve, they named them that on purpose, these religious stories are much older than we've been lead to belive. Hence the commonality seen throughout multiple no contact cultures. The stasis stuff you saw was like the opposite of what you see in certain toads that can freeze themselves and survive. Like a frog in a boiling pot. Sometimes the temp dips and one accidentally wakes up. They feast on the last that woke up and perished. They are waiting for the next absolute solar minimum before they make their move, it's why people freak when super moons or blood moons occur. Although not "true" reptiles they are drawn to the color red. Like a bull.
