>>5620697I don't know anything about k-pop drama or the members or whatever
I just click on random videos and find groups I like. The ones I come back to are Twice, Loona, fromis_9, and UI
I find their videos interesting from a psychological perspective. I'd like to read a scientific analysis of why the videos are appealing to the human brain, and figure out how to harness these techniques.
I've broken down:
>shock colors>synchronized practiced facial expressions projecting a specific cartoonish emotion>love symbology (heart hand symbols)>spastic infantile movements that triggers a maternal instinct in the viewers (like body movements a baby might make that makes you want to care for the person)Then of course well-written hooks with big harmonies, that's not really a new technique obviously.
really crazy stuff, I don't think we've ever seen music videos made like this in music history.
