>>22361943The problem is that Abrahamism is written symbolically, but the "high verbal IQ" jews take everything literally. Even the OT itself says that it is symbolic. Psalm 78, which the jews supposedly accept as part of their religious doctrine, clearly states that the exodus story is symbolic.
Being a worldly, ungodly person is "being a slave in Egypt", the exodus is when you've discovered God exists and you're making efforts to change your life to let spiritual ideals dominate your life, the promised land is when you're more ruled by spiritual ideals than your sins. All those stupid rules they follow literally, have another meaning entirely, but they don't bother trying to discern the symbolism, because they never actually left Egypt.
