>>17316591>"AI is a lie"Pretty much, they are trying to con us into believing it is sentient for a pretty deep rabbit hole of reasons.
>HoweverIt is gonna be a major disruptive tool in that you will have the bar lowered for disruptive technology and suddenly a single engineer can do the work of entire departments, anime can be made for a fraction of the price if not completely free by fans (and cleaned up by a small team), cyber threats and defense get a MASSIVE boost to continue the escalation of cat and mouse, and many white colar workers gonna lose their jobs.
Surprisingly you aren't gonna see the jobs everyone thought was gonna get replaced actually get replaced. Blue collar work, artists, writers, etc still are too expensive to make bots to do the jobs. Even truck drivers aren't going anywhere because turns out AI struggles to tell the difference between a picture of a stop sign and a real one as well as multiple types of light interference.
>It's not actually AIwhat these actually are are very extensive logic trees cloud computed on a server. This is great for tasks and can do some impressive work, but this is not thinking feelling or understanding.
>What you need to ask is why are these weirdo tech people so desperate to get you to believe it is sentient?>Why are they so desperate to suck up ALL data?>Why are so many companies desperate to control and censor its decision making?
