I actually think it was just the right amount of time on him and ozzie but it makes sense to me that people would be annoyed now that they have to wait another 1-2 months until they see more. They definitely are moving away from IMP stuff recently.
I think the problem is that the show is supposed to showcase all the layers of Hell so their is a lot to explore. Hazbin is only in Pride so it probably had a lot more self contained stories. Where as Helluva boss was kind of a panorama of Hell.
