It's like how some people get off on abusive relationships, even if you know how bad it would be to be in one. It's also why it surprises me to see no one talk about how reprehensible her actions are. Do they justify it because she's not doing it to "real" people? I don't know. As we've seen, the others can gain self awareness too, and if there ever is another game set in the DDLC universe I'd love to see that explored on.
