i click on the icon and it immediately boots up - no splash screen, no 10 hour wait times to create a new project, just open and draw and i heckin love lightweight software
plus it has great support for aliased drawing and font rendering and it's mouse-friendly
the layering system is a bit poorly designed like it takes a rocket scientist to merge two layers but i don't mind
i use it for drawing i used it for painting and it's also a good for drawing soijaks
