The Buddhists and Hindus call it Karma and Dharma. If you create Karma someone will have to pay for your sins, it doesn’t always affect you, you create pain in the world based on your pain. You create Love in the world if you can abolish the pain in your heart, the pain is the ego, the pain of existence.
Hell is when you die with the pain, the pain won’t go away from itself, the ego won’t dissolve by itself. The effort you should have put during your life will be needed after death. And once you are clear of pain, your soul may progress otherwise you return, given another chance. An endless cycle. Living through your old karma and and the karma of others until you break the cycle and create dharma. In christian terms, You will suffer for your sins and for those of humanity, because we are all connected, until you abolish sin, and accept God in your heart, then you can create paradise, until then you are stuck in hell.
