That being said as a native spanish speaker I can tell you that is a pretty difficult language. To master it properly you must become a linguist or have a degree on Hispanic Literature.
I'm a 24 year old and the only foreigners that can talk a decent spanish are the ones who lived here for a couple of years. The rest sound like entitles retarded kids. So if you're socially awkward you might have a rough time dealing with native speakers.
