Basically "denominations" are not in the bible. In the bible you are either saved you lost. Meaning you are either God's child or the devils child (spiritually speaking). The reason why there are so many denominations is because of man. But if that denomination does not follow God's WORD then they are fakes. The most important thing for you to learn is that God's WORD is the standard, not man.
So what i am trying to tell you is that you don't want to get yoked up in man made religious systems. Most denominations were pretty sound in the faith in the old days. But nowadays there is very little bible truth and most these denoms are on their way to hell.
So what you must do is 1. Get saved 2. Get a King James Bible 3. Grow in fellowship with God.
This is all that matters. You probably didn't know, but the bible doesn't teach that a Church is a building. The bible teaches that a Church are saved believers gathered togheter I.E the saved individual is the temple of God and the Holy Spirit dwells within him...

(speaking to saved people). What is required my friend is a spiritual new birth by getting saved through the Lord Jesus Christ. "Church" membership will not save you. Getting on the good side of the "pastor" will not save you. Only the spiritual birth will save you...
