Just then a woman that clearly works for the business side of this promotion approaches. Nikki accepts her offer of a handshake but folds her arms afterward. She may not work for WWA but she's still a suit. And suits fired Sapphire. This one might seem friendly now, but they can't be trusted.
"Well I don 't believe we have an exclusivity clause in our WWA contracts, so there's nothing stopping me from working for you now," Nikki replies, "But if you can't license my music or afford my pyro, there's no chance of you coming up with the kind of pay I'd want."
She puts an arm around Sapphire and narrows her eyes at Sophia. "Now make sure you take good care of our superstar here while you have her, and don't screw her over like WWA did. Because if you do screw her, maybe I'll call in a favour with my sister. The real one, not that tribute act that's still laying face down out there after Jen showed her what it's like to be in the ring with a real athlete."
Sophia nods nervously them turns to Sapphire, discussing her upcoming schedule with her.
