>>19368808>>19368812Nikki is initially agitated when Kelly takes a seat across from her. Why is this bitch getting comfortable? But then she starts to speak, and every word is like music to Nikki’s ears. “I… I think that’s some of the nicest stuff anyone has ever said to me,” says Nikki.
She grabs the champagne bottle and pours out a glass for herself, then another for Kelly, and smiles. “I’d like you to stay.” She pushes the glass across the table toward Kelly.
“And you’re right about some things. I trust Madame Divine’s judgement, but I do feel pretty unappreciated right now. She didn’t even remember my birthday was a few days ago, because she was so busy with Colby’s sister. No one remembered except my friends Sheila and Sapphire. And you apparently.” Nikki empties her glass in a few gulps, then pours out another.
“But how the hell could I ever show someone like Madame Divine that I don’t need her? If I walked out the mansion tomorrow, she’d just shrug and have Carmody moving into my room by the end of the day. You know, fucking Sola Fire of all people was in that promo with her and Carmody too. She spends more time with SOLA FIRE than me now! Sola Fire!” Nikki downs her entire drink then pours out yet another.
“I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how this happened. I don’t know what I did wrong. Fuck. Tonight was supposed to be fun. I- I don’t want to talk about this anymore.” Nikki sighs, then looks down at the view of the dance floor available from the height of the VIP lounge. She turns to Kelly and grins. “Look, Ms. Secret admirer. I really appreciate what you tried to do for me, even if we didn’t really know each other very well and I kind of hated you before tonight. But unless you invited me here to wallow in my sorrows, I suggest you take me down to that dance floor so I can forget all about them.”
