This newcomer, a relation of someone who clearly just don’t want to be friends despite her words, is already proving nicer than many others.]Beaver was friendly, but somewhat fickle. She’d show up, drop some hard truth bomb and then leave just as quickly, with no chance given to reply or digest.
Sola has managed to get in contact with Violet by now, but the dangerous eggplant is spending her time binging old TV shows... and truthfully, the smaller the chance of running into Violet’s tag partner the better.
Colby Jefferson... was apparently nothing more than a liar, fraternising with not just enemies, but people who Sola really though might be friends of hers. Amy, Nikki. Both of them could have been something special to Sola. And maybe once upon a time they were.
And the less said about Nika, the better. Sola knows that one is inevitable, and the thought makes her insides squirm.
>[Sola perks up, but unintentionally cringes at the mention of a phone number.]“Um, I’m really sorry; would you mind saying that again? I get a bit confused with writing stuff sometimes.”
>[With her phone now up to a handful of contacts, Sola smiles and accepts Carmody’s offer.]“Oh, I mean - if you’re sure, that would be awesome! There’s a banana crunch one that always good. And the colour matches my jacket!”
[Sola responds with a smile gesturing to her arms -- before realising she isn’t wearing her jacket and probably looks like an idiot.]
“Yeah, a chat would be nice. I’ll finish up and see you soon.”
