An old guy with no family begs a lot of questions. There's a base level criteria that can be assumed when a man is happily married with happy/healthy children around. "This guy seems likable and competent, and probably doesn't have a gay pedo dungeon under his home"
It doesn't account for everything though. Just because a man loves his family doesn't necessarily mean he won't sail YOU down the river for he and his family's own benefit. (I.e. Donald Trump selling America to Israel so his kids and grandkids can be protected NWO royalty. Not all selfless pursuits are good for everyone)
