I would not use a complete armor, only a light but resistant forearm protectors, shoulder pads, chestplate and helmet on tom of my clothes. I think I would wear some gloves too. My weapon would be a one handed short sword because I can use my other arm to defend and balance and I don't have coordination to double wield.
