Last night I met two genuine Hellenists from an unbroken tradition of Hellenes. The first from Greece, the other from a gypsy family in Sicily; I'm not talking about reconstructionists, I mean true Hellenes who never converted to Christianity and I'm baffled that nobody has documented their community yet, but I asked them about some ritualistic aspects and verified their claims. I'm absolutely seething with jealousy, pulling the "Catholicism and Orthodoxy are crypto-paganism" card just doesn't cut it, I wish I was also part of an unbroken lineage of Hellenes.
