>>12036276Imagine going into a planet where they still unwilingly have finite lifespans. Imagine still fearing microorganisms. Imagine being unable to control the nature of your very own planet. Imagine not having the infrastructure to connect the entire planet to at least one space elevator. Imagine actually dying and not being able to be revived. Imagine still following a straight timeline unaware of all the possible ramifications and workarounds. Imagine not being in control of your planet's weather and cycles, or being completely dependent on your star's naturally flickering light. Imagine not being able to travel past your moon. Hell, imagine your "science" barely having the ability to leave your planet's atmosphere. Imagine still venerating the last alien species that visited you.
Now imagine this primitive, amnesic, semi-sentient speck of dust with an imperfect memory and a failing society trying to lecture you about how they are God's warriors and they will defeat you, who artificially evolved past all these petty issues billions of years ago and have been ruling the starts ever since.
