Quantum mechanics is doubly absurdly complex compared to Newtonian mechanics which is absurdly more complex than Aristotle’s physics.
A more complex mathematical model does not in and of itself disprove a theory.
The Greeks considered the heliocentric universe first proposed by Aristarchus of Samos, but discarded it because it did not fit the observed motion of the planets… it was unable to account for why the planet Mars dipped so far below the plane of the earth during its retrograde motion. It failed on geometric grounds.
